~~The "Real" Story of Atlantis~~
"I was bored in History class, so I made myself Queen of a continent."
That was actually the beginnings of Atlantis. Yes, Kimicha Achine is me, and her subjects are my closest friends. Surprised? Actually, once I told them about it in English, (Laryssa, Katia, and Jenniphur) they all jumped in, and I drew a sketchy comic in a composition book (that's why a compisition book is used in the manga ^_-) that Lari called the "ESBEE". (I still don't know to this day why it was called that) In the beginning, you could only get to Atlantis by pogo stick. (Don't laugh. It sounded nice at the time) Now, it has branched out into a world of it's own, with different seasons, months, holidays, etc. And even a different language! (Based off Latin and Japanese, because they were two major founders of the Visionary Continent) Speaking of the term "Visionary Continent", it is referred to as such because it is years upon years far more advanced that we are today. Yet, the Atlantians I picture lead normal, easy, pleasant lives. It is actually my personal image of utopia.
However, Atlantis, once started, grew way out of all of our collective control, and somehow, it fell to me to tame it! I have countless documents and such on my harddrive all about Atlantis and it's history, money, etc. (Some of them are on this site! ^^) Some Atlantians remain in my hometown, and we meet every Christmas time and hold an "Atlantian Winter Party" at the local Denny's. The funny thing is, is that we actually began to take our roles in real life, kind of like LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) except without rules. And we stay in character a lot, even now a days. It's still a pleasant escape from reality! ^_- And some have moved on, probably never to return, like the Royal Mage, and Katia. I still see Jenniphur, but once in a blue moon, I'm afraid, and she's never in character anymore. I think, for the next party, we should come in costume! If we do, I'll take a picture and post it here.
And so there you have it: An entire history, born out of boredom in History. The irony of it all! ^_^
